    On Thursday my mom and I submitted a request to unlock her iPhone 4s to give to me. She uses att I have metro pcs. Yesterday we got a confirmation email and the instructions but they told us to wait 24 hours before following them. They said to back up and restore the phone while the new sim is in. I put my metro pcs sim into the phone and backed up and restored it. When it turned back on after being restored it said no service. I went to settings, general, about and it said my carrier is tmobile which is metro pcs, so I know the phone was unlocked successfully, but why won't my phone connect to my metro pcs service?

    Call metro pcs to make sure that your sim is activated properly.
