Does anybody actually use the spotlight search feature?

does anybody actually use the spotlight search feature ? I can't see why you would, maybe I'm missing something.....

Yes. I use it everyday throughout the day, especially for web searches.

If I don't feel like perusing the contact list, I'll just enter the name in the Spotlight search field and Voila! It finds it for me.

So many uses, that and I like keeping my apps in folders. Punch the name in spotlight and it brings it up.

I also use it, very often! To find anything specially apps (that I usually keep in folders) it's faster than scrolling, also contacts.

It's a fast, easy way to launch contacts, launch apps or search the phone or the web. I also use it the same way on my Mac. I'm not sure I could manage as effectively on either platform without Spotlight search.
