Why did my iPhone 6 Plus suddenly stopped accepting calls from one number?

my iphone 6 plus suddenly stopped accepting calls from one number. the phone rings, but the screen is black and when I try to turn the phone on to receive the call, it disconnects the caller. The phone is not on Do Not Disturb and the number is not blocked. I am able to receive calls normally from other callers, any suggestions?
