I got a new iPhone 6 and can't seem to access the photos from my old phone. Can you help?

The guy at the store did all of the set up and I got my apps and music but only 72 of maybe 1000 pictures and no calender dates, etc

How do I go back into the cloud?

Connect to your home's Wi-Fi network, put the new phone down and allow it to finish syncing. I'm assuming iCloud is already set up on the phone.
