How can I fix 'Unknown error occurred (11)'?

'Unknown error occurred (11)' on IPdad

My Ipad froze and now has a picture of the ITunes logo and the connector cord. I went to do a restore via ITunes and got an error message 'The Ipad could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (11)'.
Help - what do I do - I am completely useless when it comes to computers! Please help

Press both the home button and power button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Afterwards, release both buttons. You will more than likely be greeted with the same iTunes logo. Go ahead and connect your device to your computer and then select to restore it via iTunes after iTunes detect it in recovery.
