Is it possible to change the number of alerts for events you create on the iPhone calendar?

Is it possible to change the number of alerts for events you create on the iPhone calendar? Currently, I can only set two alerts. I'd like to add a third.

I don't know of any way to do that. You can set a 3rd alert as a reminder in the Reminders app.
