Why people hide / disable their last seen ?

If i disable mine, I wouldn't see the last time of others people ?

You find some specimens, who hold you by your throat, if you don't reply immediately after checking their message. Better to hide/disable 'last seen' from such people, than face their wrath.

if somebody hides the "last seen" stamp, seems there is a reason for it -

I assume that people who hide their whatsapp last seen time stamp are generally;
1. Unnecessarily proud / egotistical
2. Untrustworthy (these comprise the players, liars and all etc in that untrustworthy category)
3. Acting like... Bi*** (i.e. men who are less of men and women who are less of women)

wish people will understand that and learn more about confidence and how to face and confront their fears before they learn how to hide ...

Because it's easier to ignore someone when they can't see you, unless you are both online at the same time. They can't say you where online and didn't respond .

Why does it appear to bother you so much that other people choose to hide the "last seen"stamp? What business is it of yours? Just because you don't, it doesn't give you the right to demean those who do.

Some people take offence when they see someone was online or last seen after they had sent message and assume that the person is ignoring them. That becomes a huge irksome issue sometimes leading to misunderstandings.
Or just avoid from spy/Stalker
