I get emails that don't work from itunes when a new TV show in my subscriptions is available.

In the past, I would open iTunes and then click on the message in the email and downloading would start immediately after I logged in. NOW I am defaulted to the Apple home page to sell me new things. Anything to do about this. BTW, I can download them from the Purchased option.
