How can I delete all moments photos?

Deleting all moments photos

Please assist
I am in Photos/moments, have selected photos, but trash can is faint and inaccessible to click to delete

Interesting.....

I testied mine to make sure there is not a iCloud issue. But mine works. Trash can is not faint and I am able to delete.

Have you rebooted or toggled iCloud photo Library off and back on?

Were the pictures synced to the phone from iTunes on a computer?
