Why doesn't the keyboard appear in Contact?

The keyboard does not appear in "Contact"

When I go to Contact and touch to "search" frame, I don't see the keyboard. Can youu help me to fix it?

Have you tried swiping the contacts app out of the multitasking tray? That works for the messages app when the keyboard vanishes.

Double tap the home button, take your thumb or finger and swipe the contacts app out like in the pic. I'm assuming you were using the contacts app. See in the screenshot I'm swiping the TapaTalk app upward. Do that til it's gone.

Oh, I see. You mean that I close the contact app?

I suppose so. Is that what you were using? Have you tried that?

Yes, I tried that, but the bug still occurs. So I tried reset factory the device to fix the bug.
