My iPhone is not letting me type in my passcode, how can I get into my phone?

My iPhone is not letting me type in my passcode

I was using my iPhone and it was working perfectly fine when suddenly it crashed and now it's not letting me put the password in to get into my phone, it's reset itself 3 times and it still doesn't work. I've not dropped my phone. It just crashes as soon as I try to type in my password

press & hold the home and power buttons until you see the Apple logo...then release the buttons and let it boot.
