Why am I no longer able to post on my calendar and I am not able to add events?

My events are no longer posted on my calendar, and I am not able to add events.

I have looked at all the settings and updated to iOS8.

Is Calendar enabled in Settings? Go to Settings >Mail,Contacts and Calendars >toggle Calendars on.
