My wifi keeps disconnecting and I have to keep manually turn on and off the wifi to make it work but it just disconnects again. I have powered it down twice and no resolution. What can I do? Also when I select my home wifi and the prompts comes up, it never accepts my password. I have to keep turning on/off and it will connect for a few minutes. I have the iPhone 6

Sounds like an issue with the wifi hotspot - reboot it if it's under your control... make sure it has the latest firmware available for it.
