Why does my Ipad say No Game Center when I clearly do have Game Center

Been Playing Word Rally with a friend for months and now Ipad is saying No Game Centre. I have rebooted but still no joy.

Connect to iTunes... Sync, backup...restore the iOS...restore the backup...sync...
