How much does it cost to do these CBS, Hulu type programs on line?

I'm on limited income and am interested in the cost of these programs.

Right now - most "channel" apps require validation/authentication with a cableTV subscription and are otherwise free... coming soon will be Apple's TV service with a limited number of channels for a fee... Hulu and similar apps have their own monthly subscriptions that are detailed on their web site(s).
