Greyed-out FaceBook on iPhone 5

I have iPhone 5. Facebook is greyed out and nothing shows; however I am getting the Notification message, but when I click on it, it's gray.

Try deleting the Facebook app and reinstall.

Log in to Facebook in Safari. If it's OK there, then it's the app. A nice alternative Facebook client is Friendly+.
