I have lost the ability to voice text and receive emails on my iphone 5s. How can I 'reboot'?

In the last day or so I am no longer receiving emails to my iPhone. Also voice text function is not working.

To reboot, simply press and hold both the power button and the home button until you see the Apple logo. After you see the Apple logo, release both buttons.
