Getting wifi connection errors using AT&T mobile transfer app..any fixes?

Trying to move content from iphone5 to iphone6 using the mobile transfer app. I am getting wifi connection errors, yet the wifi is operating properly for all other connections.

Connect your iPhone 5 to your computer and perform an iTunes backup. Afterwards, connect your iPhone 6 to the same computer and restore the backup you made with your iPhone 5 to it.
