Why isn't my trash can icon is available?

Trash can icon is not available

After selecting the moments to delete, the trash can icon has to be tapped. but it is not available. does not respond to yapping.

Wait. What? If it does not respond to (what I assume you meant) "tapping", how can it not be available? Anyway, try rebooting your device, and then try again.

If you are trying to delete pictures, were they synced from a computer using iTunes? If so, you need to delete them that way.
