Should I put a screen protector(tempered glass on my iphone 6)?

I am getting an iphone 6 in next week. I already bought a Lifeproof case which obviously has the screen protector. But should I go the extra step and also apply one of the tempered glass ones to the screen? Just asking first because I do not want to affect the touch screen anymore than I have to, but I also want to protect this phone very well. Would having the protector on screen and the case screen protector be a bad idea?

I don't think you require two screen protectors, I think if whatever scratches your screen breaks through a life proof it was meant to happen
