Why cant Siri delete notes?

I want to delete a Note that I have made and update it with the latest information. Eg TV series Blacklist i am up to number 15 on my note and I want Siri to delete the note Blacklist 15 and update to 16. But Siri says he can't delete notes

I guess so that stuff can't be deleted by accident. The current way it takes a concerted decision by the user to delete something, which is then unrecoverable.
