I got clash of clans on my iPad and it is on the home screen but when I go to play it just stalls and won't download . It says Internet connection lost . My iPhone 4s does the same thing when I switch on the wifi but when it is on cellular it works great

If I had to *guess*, I'd say that you are not connected to the internet, or your internet connection has been disrupted, either on your end or on your internet provider's end.
