    After changing the password it took a while to receive e-mails and is now doing so.
    It did send a few e-mails and now won't send anything.
    I've re-input the password several times.
    I've updated the software as there was an update waiting to be installed.
    I've turned it off - and on - following each of these attempts too

    delete the account all together and re-add it- that could help- also the issue could be on the providers end.

    Depending on which email service you are using, if you changed the password, you may have to change the SMTP (outgoing) password, as well.
