Upgrading BT to BT 4 on a 2009 iMac would be very attractive.

Nymi is in throes of building an EKG based authentication system that will eliminate passwords altogether! The nymiband communicates with computers, phones and tablets by BT 4. Being obliged to buy an entire computer for lack of BT 4 compliance seems a bit extravagant. Your thoughts welcome. Csp

Buy a Bluetooth4 dongle that will plug into a sub port on your 2009 Mac.
