Would heat help reattach loose screen after iPad repair?

I

iMore Question

Had a cracked screen, got it fixed, but now the bottom edge seems loose, mostly in the bottom right corner (the original crack was upper left). Would applying heat help reseal the adhesive or does that only work when you first replace the screen?

Long involved process with third party iPad repair service - replacing cracked screen, they had it for a month, problems with shivering & freezing up. They did the replacing three times before "giving it to their best guy" who actually repaired it correctly. (Huh? Shouldn't they give it to the best guy in the first place?) So, I don't really want to go back to them...

It should work. Repair shops always use 3M adhive in the repair service which can be heated up. Press the screen a little bit after it has been heated up and be careful.
