iCloud does not synchronize calender and contacts between iPad Air, iPhone 6+ or Computer (Dell Precision, Widows 7, iTunes 12.1.1.4). It worked ones, when I first connected them, but never again. The reason why I connected the devices to iCloud was that sync with iTunes stopped working.

This didn't help. Formally all looks good and nothing seems to be wrong. iTunes diagnoses says synchronization is okay. Synchronization just doesn't happen.

I tried to shot down synchronization of contacts on iPhone and synchronization of calender on iPad, but they have been stuck in these processes for two or three hours now. Maybe that is a clue?

After having managed to turn of the iCloud synchronization on my iPad I tried synchronizing with my computer from the iPad through Wi-Fi. That didn't accomplish anything either.

I even emptied my iPhone and my iPad and programmed iTunes to overwrite all information on the devices. They are still empty after synchronization.

When I reconnected the devices to iCloud I immediately got back the information from before. It appears that all calender information on the computer is saved in a calender called "Kalender - icloud", while another calender called "Kalender - Outlook (2)" was used for the cable and wi-fi synchronizations. The problem is thus to make icloud word with the calender - and use the correct calender - on the computer. Therefore I wonder if there is a way to preset the correct path for where icloud connects to Outlook (there are two active and one older Outlook profiles on this computer).

There may be a problem with the the Outlook data file. Calender, Notes and Contacts are stored in files named "n.n. - icloud". The outlook data file is marked as default data file and that's were the information is stored. However, one iCloud file appears to function as default data file. It cannot be selected as such (it apparently already is). The correct file can be selected as default data file, but doing so doesn't change anything.

(I have of course also checked the iCloud Internet calender etc and it works fine together with the iPhone and the iPad, but does not receive information from the computer.)

Maybe I finally detected the error: Outlook had inactivated a dll-file related to iCloud. When it was activated the iPhone and iPad started to get at least some information from Outlook.
