How do I delete photos from my iPhone 5c?

what to do when iphone 5c wont let you delete photos from phone

Daughter has tried unsyncing photos and deleting from her phone and its not letting her take any off. She has tried going through iTunes and its not letting her remove them thast way either. Any suggestions
