Why are my messages getting erase and why do my apps close all the time (iPhone 5)?

My iPhone 5 is acting weird

Whatsapp messages get erased all the time, apps keep closing all the time and when I erase pictures they come up on the gallery again. I've restarted it but it keeps happening.

Can anyone help me please?

Is the device jailbroken? Is it possible that the installed iOS version is corrupted or you have a rogue app of some sort? If I were you, I'd restore my iPhone and set it up as new via iTunes.
