Why will my apps not download when the AppStore said they downloaded

The app when I download will not show up on my home screen! But the AppStore says that I can open it so I press the open button but then it won't let me open it! So when I buy a app it takes my money. I am very disappointed with Apple.

Reboot the phone... Try signing out of the AppStore on the phone and signing in again...
