    Apple has more class? right? But for eg the macbook is way expensive than other computers even though features are limtied. Why is that so?

    There is an Apple tax, yes. It is completely unjustified except that it proves that we are willing to pay it. It keeps the stockholders happy.

    That's not true at all. Apple makes superior products. No one is forcing you to buy them nor am I going to justify why I buy them.

    Oh boy.

    Most of us who are Apple fans have no issue paying extra for the software and design/aesthetic look of the machines. Those two factors are precisely why the machines "cost more" than similar Windows machines.

    If you don't want to pay extra for a rMBP great. Go get an Asus Zenbook. It is a pretty great computer too. No OS X and no Apple software but w/e if you don't use Apple software you won't miss it.
