Hi,

I'm planning a trip soon, where I wouldn't be able to have a WIFI router near and I'll plan to record several videos and take a bunch of photos.
My iPhone 5s 32gb will be running out of space in a few hours.
My iPad Air 2 is 128gb, so I would like to use it as storage.

I haven't found any app that can do that without using a WIFI network (tried Simple Transfer, which looks like the better for transfer media).

Is there a way to create a WIFI network from one device and connect from the other?
Turning Personal Hotspot in the iPhone creates a network, but if I turn Simple Transfer app on the iPhone to transfer the media to the iPad it says I should turn WIFI on. I can see the iPhone from the iPad, but I need the opposite direction.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

You can use Airdrop to transfer photos and videos if your running iOS 7 or later and have an iPhone 5 or newer but you need an iPad 4th generation or newer

There's a lot of photo upload apps you can use to get the job done or you could simply Email the photos and short videos too
