    how does she separate what she wants from my library from what she doesn't want. Does it work like home sharing in iTunes?

    Below you'll find links to Apple's site for more information. She wouldn't get access to "all" apps, only the ones eligible for sharing.

    I believe if there are apps/books/music/books you do not want someone to be able to see or share, all you need to do is hide them in the purchase screen.

    She doesn't get all your apps automatically. She just gets access to them and can choose which to install.
