I have a message with a series of texts from different times and then there are four pictures. I don't want the text, I do want the pictures. Thanks for the help.

Have you tried a long press of the picture to save it to your albums?

You can also long press the message and it will give you the ability to mark the specifc messages you want to delete.

Like @qbnkelt said, maybe merely saving the images is the way to go...
