Are there organizations that donate iPads

We have longed to get our son an iPad. He is 12 and a Bi-Modal young man. He wears a Cochlear Implant & Hearing Aid. Unfortunately we have not been able to afford one. Any resources would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I don't know about any that donate the devices themselves but you should join iMore. Perhaps if you start a "Donate to the cause" thread here with us, you could possibly raise enough to get one?

Who knows maybe someone would donate one! At any rate, this is a great community and we'd love to have you join!

Are their charitable organizations that help people with things? Certainly... the OP should seek out their local Children's Miracle Network affiliate hospital and go from there.
