Rene Ritchie said the new outlook app works with all iMap - not true. Can he tell me how he came to this conclusion?

The new outlook app for IOS says this
Outlook works with Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Outlook.com, iCloud, Gmail, and Yahoo Mail.
iMore states on MacBreak weekly that it works with all IMAP. How? or what that a mistake?
