Is this a hardware issue?

So here is the deal.My iPhone 6 Plus's camera is great.It takes amazing pictures and videos.Recently,though,something very unusually came to my attention.I turned on the assistive touch option.So then I went on to take a 60FPS video and when I did and swiped right to change to a different mode my camera app froze.It kept freezing every time I took a 60FPS video until I turned off the assistive touch option.When I turned it off my Camera app started working normally without freezing at all.So idk that's really weird I hope it's not a hardware issue.What do you guys think?Have U experimeced this?Is it normal?Thanks in advance!

If it were a hardware issue, it would most likely do it no matter what you did in the software/settings... it could be a bug... now you know how to avoid it... go to Apple - Feedback and let 'em know what you think.
