Check the little switch on the side of the phone...can you see orange/reddish color? That means the 'silent' switch is ON... Turn it off...

See a half moon in the upper right corner of the display? That means DoNotDisturb is on... Turn it off... In control pannel or via Settings.

Then check the ringer volume in settings and that you have a ring tone selected...
