The MAIL page too large in OS X 9.4.5. How can I scale it down?

Can't find a way to normalize it to normal scale. Using OSX 9.4.5

Have you tried the menu bar...Window...Zoom?

While in the mail app, press Cmd+0 or Cmd+ - (minus)
