    On plugging the iPad mini into the PC using the lightning cable I get the response "No device found" accompanied by an audible repetitive bell sound. The iPad was turned on (powered up) and photo albums on display to choose from.1

    Are you using iCloud? Do you have the iCloud for Windows app? That will help in syncing your PC to and from iCloud...
