How am I to locate request on my iPad to approve family share purchases made by the kids

A request showed up as a small banner on the top of my device but when I try to unlock the iPad I could not find the request. I don't know where to go to get approval or decline for the children request purchase

Try this... Pull down from the top of the iPad... tap Notifications.
