Why isn't my iPhone 4s keyboard turning on?

Iphone 4S, keyboard

I can't get my keyboard to turn or switch from side to side. Anyone know why, or what I have done. I like to turn the keyboard so the keys are larger..I have large thumbs and not so easy to type with a small board. Thanks for your help!

I *assume* you have the orientation lock enabled. If your iPhone is running the iOS 7 or 8, swipe up from the bottom to reveal the Control Center and then tap on the last icon at the top.
