Why aren't I getting updates for my Mac Pro because the app store says it is unavailable?

I can't get updates for my Mac Pro because the app store says it is unavailable.

I've tried several times to get updates in the last couple of days, but the app store says the connection is unavailable. I live in Sandy, Utah. Zip code 84092. Is this a local problem or a problem with my computer. I don't know who to call for information. My MacPro plan has expired

can you get to any Apple sites via a web browser on the same network the MacPro is on? Or from the MacPro?
