Why is my home and lock screen draining my battery

Battery life is only lasting a couple of hours. It is saying that my home and lock screen usage is 78percent.

I don't know. What have you done to correct the problem? You can try any of the following, to name a few:

• Reboot your device
• Reset All Settings
• Restore your device and set it up as new
• Make a genius bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose the problem
