    This happens on my iPad 3, but not on my iPhone or Apple Computer.

    restart the iPad...

    go into settings...general...reset...reset network settings... you'll have to sign in again to any wifi hotspots requiring a password that you use...

    if you have control over the wifi hotspot you're connected to - reboot that...
