Can i send iMessages from my macbook pro to any other devices and networks,
or can iMessages only be send to Apple Macs, and other apple products.

Regardless of which Apple device you send an iMessage from, the Apple to Apple device for iMessage still applies. And like Karen said, for non Apple device users, it will be SMS.
