Why don't I have the delete options on the actions tab in the Group app?

I downloaded the Groups app to help to clean up my contacts because all my email addresses had been put in there when converting from an android to an iPhone. I do not have the delete function under actions.

Not very familiar with that app. Have you tried contacting the developer?
