I have had my apple ID/account for many years now and have recently purchased a 2nd hand iphone 4 for my step daughter. I initially put my itunes details on it, not being aware of this function, but now that I am constantly getting new apps appearing on my ipad every time I plug it in (and it updates from the cloud) I "googled" it and found out about this and have to do it but I am curious as to whether ibooks can be restricted as there are obviously books she is too young for.

    I hope you can help.

    Thanks,
    Lynz

You can hide purchases with Family Sharing whether they are books, apps, etc.
