5c sim card swap now phone won't work?

I swapped my sim card with my son's to trade but put them back to original as I did not take his phone, my son's phone will not work now, no service, no calls, he can only use regular wifi stuff like games. It is like the phone is shut off. We have re entered his itunes account and icoud account and still not working.

If you're on Verizon or Sprint you need to make sure the phones MEIDs are active and attached to the respective phone numbers with the carrier either via their online account self management tools or by calling customer service from a working phone other than the two involved in the issues... With Sprint or Verizon, you can't just swap sims and have things work straight away...
