Hi everyone, I switched all my devices over to apple products. Macbook air, iPad and iPhone. It's exciting getting to know my way around Yosemite and iOS 8. In advance sorry if this question has been asked before. I couldn't find it.

Today when I went to opened iPhotos I got this error.

"Caution The iPhoto Library is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have permission to make changes to it. iPhoto can try to repair the permissions. "

When I click repair I get another prompt.

"iPhoto is trying to repair your photo library. Type your password to allow this."

When I do that then click repair I get this.

"Caution The iPhoto Library is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have permission to make changes to it."

So I click on "OK" and it closes iPhotos.

    Any ideas?

Thanks...BTW love the forums. I've learned a lot just by read the post.
