Is sim pin lock the same as screen lock

I have tried to change my password to open screen but ended up locking PUK.Have fixed that but would like to have a new password to access phone.Thank you,Maurice

Call your carrier and ask them. The PUK is specific to your sim. Never any of your other passwords.
